I was on my way to my baby shower and i was 35 weeks pregnant when a young man was driving recklessly and hit me head on. I had never ever been in an accident before but this one almost cost me and my daughter our lives. The wreck threw me into instant labor! I had my daughter at 35 weeks about an hour after the wreck! I was taken by ambulance to St. Thomas of Rutherford, where they delivered her but then i was taken by Ambulance to Vanderbilt. I only got to see my daughter for about 20 seconds before i was sent there. I had a cut on my liver and had to be taken there. My daughter was born very bruised but thankfully she was ok. I did not get to even hold my daughter until she was 4 days old!! When she and I were finally released from the hospitals i had a lot of very bad bruising, a fresh Csection and a nasty cut on my leg which got infected because it was never treated. I waited to see if the boys insurance would even contact me but of coarse they didn't. So i called the office of John Day. It was the best thing I've ever done!! They have been right by side through the whole thing and I couldn't have done it with out them!! They have been very caring and helpful through the whole process of the law suite. No matter how many questions or emails I've sent them, they always got back to me!! I ABSOLUTELY COULD NOT HAVE HANDLED THIS WITHOUT THEM!!! No matter what happened they were there to assure me that they could handle it! I highly recommend them to anyone that may need a lawyers help!! We Love you all at The Offices of John Day!!!!
