I had no plans to hire an attorney after I was rear ended. All I wanted was the individual’s insurance to pay for my car damage + medical bills. It felt like a bare minimum requirement? The insurance company was quick to tell me they didn’t commit to paying for it, “they’ll see” and became unprofessional and rude when I simply asked, “What are the steps to follow to have pay them? I want to make sure I do it right by your processes - do you have specific doctors I use or I’m unclear, so just want to double check?” State Farm’s rep refused to walk me through a process and made it as difficult as possible... all while I couldn’t support holding up my own neck it was in so much pain. At that point, I said “screw yall”, for lack of better words and said I’m getting an attorney. My friend recommended George — It was a small case. I wasn’t critically injured, it was a soft tissue damage. No visible injury - the kind where people don’t believe you because you look fine but every day it is miserable! There wasn’t much $$$ for George to make in this but I told him, “I simply can’t handle this. I don’t know how and they won’t work with me! I don’t do conflict.” George worked and he worked hard for me. He wouldn’t let me take the first offer and negotiated more. I truly appreciate his time on this - I had a hundred other issues going on that this was just the straw that broke the camel’s back. I couldn’t have done it without him! Let me repeat this: I genuinely couldn’t have done it without him. I probably would’ve ignored my pain because I didn’t have time or emotional energy to deal with it.... It was so easy to handle because of him! Thank you, George! He was wonderful and a just nice guy, too!
