After being injured, I decided to call the Nashville law firm that has been a household name for 50 years. We have seen this firm visit the sick in the hospital, bring clients food, etc. However, I soon found out that this call was a mistake. I was promised on the phone that they would take my case. After not hearing from this firm for a while, my friend and I went to that office personally to get the status of my case. After being sat in a conference room, a lawyer came and told us that they were not going to take my case because there was only a 50% chance that they could win. I was extremely upset upon hearing this news and equally upset because I felt that I had been lied to. I was also told that they were going to call me the next day, which again I felt was a lie, as I did not receive a letter from the firm until about a month. My friend went and talked to Mr. Queener that same day and told him the facts of my case. He agreed to meet with me that afternoon. One of this staff did the intake but he came in and met me. Based on my experience with the original law firm, I asked Mr. Queener, point blank, to be honest with me if he thought that he was not going to represent me. He stated that he could make no promises right then about my case but would definitely let me know if he was not going to take my case. He did take my case and he and his staff, in my case Ashley, worked hard on my settlement. Ashley was great to work and was very detailed. I truly appreciate her patience. My case did not have to go to trial but instead went to arbitration. During that process, Mr. Queener walked me through what would happen and explained what was happening in plain and simple language, not talking above my head. Any question I had during this process, which took several hours, Mr. Queener took the time to answer. I believe the settlement I received was very fair. I would highly recommend Queener Law and would not hesitate to refer him!
