Urology – Cynthia Childress was named chief nursing officer in May 2018 for Vanderbilt Stallworth Rehabilitation Hospital. Prior to joining Vanderbilt Stallworth, Cindy served in a variety of roles at Vanderbilt Medical Center since 2001 including manager for orthopedics/urology, general surgery and colorectal surgery. In addition, she served as the business coordinator for the Surgical Patient Care Center. She started her career at Wellmont Holston Valley Hospital in East Tennessee as a critical care RN and as a critical care educator. Stroke Rehabilitation-Our hospital has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Disease-Specific Care Certification in stroke rehabilitation.
Nutritional Counseling-Jeffrey Palmucci was named CEO on Sept. 18, 2017 for Vanderbilt-Stallworth Rehabilitation Hospital, where he served as the interim chief operating officer for six months prior. Since 2010, Jeff has served as administrative director of operations for Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt Outpatient Imaging Services, Rehabilitation Services and Nutrition Services. He also shared oversight of five Vanderbilt imaging center ventures for adult and pediatric patients. Jeff earned a bachelor’s degree from St. Joseph’s College and is a Certified Radiology Administrator of the American Healthcare Radiology Administrators and a Registered Technologist in Radiography of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Physical Therapy-Eric Lieman, PT, DPT, has been employed at Vanderbilt Stallworth since 2008. He started as a staff physical therapist, was promoted to therapy manager in January 2016, and now serves as the director of therapy operations. Eric’s clinical interests include neurological rehabilitation. He graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in psychology in 2001, and completed his physical therapy degree in 2006 at Columbia University. Eric lives in Nashville with his wife Gina and twins Isabella and Dylan. Read more
